Conveniently located near Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley, Windsor is quickly becoming one of Northern Colorado?s premier communities. Windsor is located near three school districts: Windsor RE-4, Poudre School District and Thompson RJ-2. Windsor RE-4 currently consists of four elementary schools, one charter school, one middle school, and one high school. Additional middle schools are currently in the developmental stages. Poudre School District has more than 32 elementary schools, one bi-lingual education school, nine junior high schools, alternative and core knowledge schools and four high schools. The town of Windsor is conveniently located along I-25 just 50 miles north of Denver. Several employment opportunities are available along the Front Range including Anheuser Busch, Vestas (a wind energy plant), Hewlett Packard, and medical research facilities and hospitals.
